Pakistan and Australia are the two big names in the cricketing world and to keep the competition alive such big teams are kept in the same group. this will make the group stage interesting too. if these come in the first 4 of group A they will make through to the next round which is the quarter finals and if they do win there  quarter finals and the semi finals than we have a chance of seeing both Pakistan and Australia in the world cup final. Looking at the stats Australia will be the favorite simply because Pakistan does not have a respectable stats against Australia. But in a game of such intensity and pressure anything is possible and any team can out perform the other.
