The wicket-keeper batsman, Tatenda Taibu has been selected for the Zimbabwe XI squad after being out of active cricket for long. a first class match series.
Taibu suffered a thumb injury which prevented him from the series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 A. The Taibu fans missed him after the World Cup in which he gave some good performances.
The Zimbabwe XI team is scheduled to play the only Test match against Bangladesh from August 4-8, 2011 at Harare Sports Club. Before the team’s return to the longer format game, it was important to include strong players in the team to give it a major boost.
Taibu’s addition in the team will boost the morale of the fellow players as he is one of the most experienced and technical players Zimbabwe has and his return can have positive impact on team’ s performance.

The 15-member squad of Bangladesh was announced on Friday, July 15 for the tour of Zimbabwe. The captain Shakib strongly criticised the team selection and alleged the selection committee for not consulting him before taking this decision.
