  1. Baseball is going out this year.

So no point in bringing in Cricket.

Even T20 when played for ten continous days will be boring for other teams who are not  into semi finals.

  2. Although it could be a well supported sport with big crowds almost guaranteed if matches were to feature England, Australia, India or Pakistan, the fact that the IOC doesn't recognise the West Indies as a nation means that they will have to be split up into their individual nations, just as what happened at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. This would dilute the competition from these teams, affecting the quality of the games. Another factor against cricket's inclusion in the olympics is that the countries where cricket is a national sport don't have much political power as a group to be able to receive enough votes for the inclusion of cricket in the olympics.

  3. I think cricket  would be far more entertaining than softball, baseball etc. Its pure fun n they should def. include it.

  4. Hopefully it will but I think London was its biggest chance but since its not been admitted I don't think it will come anytime soon with things like pitches requiring a lot of work.

By the way Glen S, England are also not a member of IOC, they play under GBR

  5. I don't think cricket will gain that status in olympics until america russia or china take cricket seriously.

That would be the only solution for cricket becoming an olympic sport

  6. I think it more popular then baseball and softball so possible.

I would like it if it was.
