  1. These so called 'experts' weren't Indian were they?

  2. Ha you answered your own question.

I guess their argument is if they play more 20/20 their batting and bowling will become a lot more wilder and impulsive. Also say your facing speed ball in a 20 20 match you are encouraged to swing at them to the point that players might be able to control the fast bowlers a bit more and be able to succesfully whack a few more boundaries.

    Time will tell.

  3. These were the same experts who claimed that one dayers would ruin test matches. As one answerer has said, it has actually made tests more interesting. But these outdated "experts" won't realise that change is always for the better. So better leave them in their cozy shells till the storm comes and blows them away.

  4. Look, the experts mean to say that ipl will change test cricket.it will change the way we play test cricket in different situations. In tests your way of playing good cricket shots will be improved. In t20 you need to be creative and a bit lucky.

These experts whom you are talking about are none other than the players who are playing in the IPL.Eg-Kumble (in his interview),Jayawardene(said during one of the match),Graeme smth...etc.And what they say seems to be true.If you see Dwayne Bravo in the second last test match against Australia, he has not batted like his usual way.

  5. they are quiet right.now even test matches become more competitve.as per sky sports calculations nearly 67% of the test matches played in the last 2 years have ended in a result.which was only 17% in 1950s - 1970s.many test matches end in 4th day itself or with one innings left.so this is good for cricket.isn't it.

  6. It may.
