  1. Im a spinner too, but as already said, you have to shine one side, let the other side get all ratty, hold the shiny side on the side you want the ball to swing away from, and run your fingers down the ball as you release.

Weather conditions also have some sort of effect, something to do with humidity, but I can't remember that. Not that important to me being a spinner.

Basically, the ball swings away from the shiny side because it is smoother and has less drag and resistance, therefore that side of the ball moves through the air quicker.

  2. i m a spinner.....

    so i m sorry

    i dont know

  3. nice one to answer , it is because of surface of ball and condition of ground . if ball is old player make one side of ball smooth. and keep one side rough , when ball go through high speed the smother surface make a way and rough side due obstacle make ball moving

  4. It depends which kind of swing u want to bowl....

If its a outswinger then u need to shine one side of the ball usually by sweat or by ur spit.... sometimes the sunscreen or cream u have applied for blocking the sun can be a good way to shine the ball.... Then hold the ball in a manner that the seam is facing away the batsman at an angle of about 20 degrees.... try to pitch just about overpitched.... and the ball pitched in and around off stump area.... Dont fully concetrate on pace... Be sure of ur line and length and let the ball do all the work....

For an inswinger u just about have to do the same ... Just that this time hold the ball so that it faces towards the batsman for about 10 degrees... dont increase the degrees or u might as well concede a wide or worse still four byes

  5. First of all you must have a cricket ball that is shiney on one side and wrecked on the other.

To swing it out, as you bowl let your finger slip down the left side of the ball and vice versa for in swing
