  1. Practice throwing the ball from different positions at the stumps. Better yet, have someone hit the ball at you and try to pick up the ball as cleanly as you can try to hit the stumps with your your might.

  2. If your a good catcher, try and stand in the slips, or near the batsmen so you dont have to throw long distances.

Seriously a lot of people who have weak throwing arms dont stand on the boundary!

Another way would be to practice "Relay throws" e.g throwing the ball to other people, who then throw it to the wickekeeper

    Good Luck

  3. Watch American Baseball and copy them.

Start throwing short distances and build from there.

  4. Practice makes perfect. If you're joining a club, your coach will help sorting out the fielding problems - being able to bat and bowl is something England cricket needs!!!!!

  5. Practice makes perfect athlete

  6. throw the ball from the straight arm, avoid throwing from side arm (throw the ball from side arm only you have to thow the ball long distance), and point the non thorwing arm toward the target. This will require some practice, and your club coach will also help you.

  7. go to gym everyday

  8. baseballers have a great technique for throwing -check out some videos / coaching techniques-do weights and build up your torso

  9. Get a cricket bat and hold it behind your head. Straighten the bat so its parrallel with your back and move ur hand up and down - this will give a good work out to your triceps!! This will improve ur throwing for sure!!

  10. practice practice practice
