  1. online by bulk is cheapest for what you want.  Petco and PetSmart are comparable in price and quality.  The crickets are not medicated, but they are gut loaded.  canned crickets are more expensive.

Order online and have the crickets shipped to your house, otherwise, you'll spend a fotune at the pet store.  Not only will you be broke, but you'll buy out the store and they will have nothing for their own pets and the other customer's pets.

  2. Okay well I'm not sure what the duck would prefer more dead or alive... proble alive since that's what its been eating, but petco and pets mart have live crickets....

    Petco:250 count- $14.39

             500 count- $15.19

            1000 count- $19.99

    Petsmart: (352)-380-0112

    Petco: (352)-331-2504

Petsmart does not post any information about what there prices would be on there crickets... But I do know that they have them located by the fish..

I'm sure that they crickets that you would purchase from a pet store would be farm raised crickets and are treated for any diseases that would harm any of the animals..

    Hope this answered you question...

  3. I would buy them by the pound. Since you have a duck i would buy them dead. Ducks don't have the agility or stamina to chase crickets around. They are NOT medicated. I also think that petsmart is the cheapest. Try either one. Crickets aren't that much money. Hope this helps!
