I wonder if there's much crime on Ayia Napa? And how's the police down there? How do they react if they see some underaged youngsters being under the influence of alcohol?

  1. the crime is huge and the police is sleeping. and if you are underage that's not make any difference because as I said the police of Cyprus sucks!!

  2. Cyprus is one of the most crime free places in the world.

Drunkenness is confined to tourists, mostly British. If your under age and drunk, or over age and drunk, you can expect a tough time  from the police. With a little luck you will be put on the first flight home, that assumes an airline will accept you. As a minimum expect a night in jail.

I bought my house in Ayia Napa in 2001 and I have yet to see any of the locals drunk.

If there is any trouble it is usually football supporters fighting among themselves. The girls are as bad as the boys.

If you can't behave yourself stay away.
