  1. They have the power to look up felonies and past records in other states but they would only go through that trouble for a serious offense, like murder, rape, assult etc. Disorderly conduct is not a charge that would push them to look your record up in other states.

  2. Upon arrest, a standard BCI check is run for anything that occurred in the state of arrest. If the person is actually incarcerated, an NCIC (Fed) check is run for wants/warrants anywhere in the nation.

Your prior record will show on the NCIC record check, but unless you are actually wanted somewhere, it wont matter for a misdemeanor like disorderly conduct.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you

  3. In this day and time after 9/11? I would think so.

  4. Through NCIC (National Crime Information Center) I may check almost any state, territory, possession, tribe, in the USA for criminal records. However (there is always a however in police work) many jurisdictions do not put in petty crimes such as traffic warrants, arrests for theft of garden hose and the like.

NCIC is a computerized index of criminal justice information (i.e.- criminal record history information, fugitives, stolen properties, missing persons). It is available to Federal, state, and local law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies and is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
