Criminal Court set to prevail in The Hall Green Bags Maiden
Criminal Court is likely to bring up his maiden Grade OR victory in The Hall Green Bags Maiden at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. A victory will earn him a cash prize of £175 in the end.
The 480 metres flat race will test both speed and stamina of the runners and the action is scheduled to begin at 11:34 GMT. Although there are some very good runners lined up for action at Hall Green, the best chances of victory appear to be with Criminal
Court.
The N. McDonald’s trainee does not have a lot of experience, as he made his debut in the 2011 season. However, he has participated in quite a few events in this class, which means he is fully aware of how to handle pressure situations.
Unlike most of the runners, the brindle dog started off his career with a Grade OR event, where he was priced 8 to 1 by the bookmakers. The pressure was too much for him to handle back then and he struggled to match the pace of his rivals. He could only
manage a fifth place in that race.
Afterwards, Criminal Court did not appear in any event that year and made a comeback to the sport in 2012. This time, he was tested in a few trial runs, which gave him some confidence before heading into a competitive race.
Daves Mentor’s son out of Adams Bonnie delivered some very good results in the trial events and seemed in a good shape to fight at the highest level. He took part in three back to back OR events, but failed to perform consistently in them. The best he could
manage was a runner up position back then, which would have given some confidence to his team.
In his most recent race in this class, Criminal Court did a decent job and finished third overall. He was priced 7 to 4 back then and showed signs of improvement compared to what he did at the start of his career. He was a touch unlucky in that event, which
forced him to stay behind the top two. However, that run clearly indicated that he has the tools to deliver a winning run in the future.
