i just graduated high school. now moving on and i plan on going back to school in spring(I'm taking fall off to work a little. need the money.) Now i THINK i want to be a cop, its always been something i could see myself doing. if not a cop i know i want to do something within the course of criminal justice. Now knowing that should i go to a 4 year College and take a major for criminal justice. or should i go to a trade school for criminal justice. or like john jay's school for criminal justice.

i want w.e will give me a better chance.

also i only know a lot about colleges. so if anyone knows some good trade schools that offers housing for the first year and isn't insanely hard to get into let me know. location i would prefer city life, or not far from city.

  1. 4 year degree from a university in general, is always a better choice than a trade school.

It is considered more reputable to have gone to a university. Plus, I know for a fact that some police dept. require officers to have a college degree to apply. And I can probably tell you that if you want to do anything meaningful in the criminal justice system, rather than just some dead end minimum wage job, that a four year degree will be the way to go.
