Criminal Records???

Question

Is there a website where you can search for criminal records and things of that nature for free??

Because my mom was selling baby stuff (car seet, etc...) over the internet

And she got this e-mail asking for her name and address to come by and pick it up (and give her the money for it :P )

So she did- and then heres what a new e-mail says-

Try looking up their public records. http://www.crimcheck.com had an extensive public records section that you can use for free. Good Luck!
