Question:

Criminal Trespass in PA.

I was just confronted by police for being in the steam tunnels at Penn State. They said it would be referred to the DA, who would most likely send my charges to the campus judicial affairs. What could happen, and should I get an attorney?

To my defense, I did not vandalize, steal from, or do anything in the tunnels other than take pictures.

  1. don't sweat it until or unless you hear from the DA. the courts have better things to do then mess with a student taking pictures.

  2. You probably will be contacted and charged. If JA handles it, no need to get a lawyer. Take responsibility and stay out of the tunnels. Why were you there? They are monitored by silent alarm and very dangerous. Keep in mind what it must look like to police especially after everything that has gone on in the world. Not your smartest moment.
