Criminal injuries compensation in the uk?

any idea if i might be eligible? if so how much?

i was assaulted 12 months ago receiving a broken jaw in more than 1 place broken cheek bone broken nose and 5 front teeth kicked out.

i was of work for 6 months having various operations and counciling.

any idea how much i might receive if any

My brother was mugged and had bones in his face broken and is now left with some permanent disfiguring, he got awarded £4000.  Hope thats some help.  Oh btw it takes about a year or more before you get your award.
