The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 defender is not ruling out a possible move to Serie A champions AC Milan at the end of this season.
The agent of Stuttgart defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-Molinaro-c9562, has revealed that his client will relish the opportunity to join A.C Milan in the summer transfer window.
Molinaro left Juventus to join Stuttgart in 2010, and his impressive performances at Mercedes-Benz Arena have attracted interest from the Italian Champions.
Agent Maurizio Gaudino insisted that his client is extremely happy at Stuttgart, but he cannot decline an opportunity to move to one of the best teams in the world. However, he insisted that he has heard nothing from Milan bosses
as yet.
While addressing Goal.com, the agent said:
"I know nothing about [a move] here in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, we have not read or heard anything, but if you're wanted by a team like Milan how do you say no?”
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-c9491 is fine in Stuttgart, is playing well, and has a contract until 2014, but for a team like Milan, he would willingly return to Italy. It's a deal that depends on the two clubs." He further stated.
Milan are definitely in the market for a new left-back, as summer signing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Taye-Taiwo-c34728, has failed to live up to the expectations of the club. The Nigerian is almost certain to leave the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window.
Defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luca-Antonini-c22503 has also been unimpressive, and the left-back position has become a problem area for Massimiliano Allegri’s team.
On the other hand, Molinaro has been a regular starter for the Swabians and has made 55 league appearances thus far.
If Milan’s interest in the defender is genuine, it will be his fourth experience in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, having previously represented Salerno Calcio, A.C. Siena and Juventus.
However, Stuttgart manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Labbadia, might be reluctant to sell his prized asset, and the Swabians are likely to offer him a new contract.
Molinaro earned his Italy cap last year in 2010, and has made two appearances for his country until now.
