Real Madrid forward and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone on to state that Real Madrid are the best team in the world. The player feels that the Spanish team are often put under the microscope, mainly because of the quality that they possess.
Talking about the envy that other clubs have for Madrid, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 is quoted to have said:
"Real Madrid are the best club in the world and [there is] a lot of envy"
Madrid have already gone on to get their current La Liga season off to a flying stating. The team took on Real Zaragoza on the opening day of fixtures and thumped their opponent’s six goals to nil. Ronaldo went on score a hat trick during the game and is already looking to prove his worth for the team, once again.
Following the win, Ronaldo has gone on to become ecstatic and has stated that this coming year could finally bring good fortune for the club.
"I think this will be a great year for us"
Madrid have been forced to play second to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 over the course of the last couple of seasons. The Catalans have gone on to win almost everything in sight, but there have always been some form of controversies when the two have taken to the field.
However, despite this fact, Ronaldo is hoping to look past these past controversies and try and get the best this coming season.

Real Madrid are going to now face Getafe in their next La Liga game and Ronaldo and Madrid will both be looking to go all out and mount a serious challenge on Barcelona this time around.
