Real Madrid playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo has been declared fit for the Los Blancos’ UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur.

The first leg of the quarter-final would be played at Santiago Bernabeu on 5 April, 2011.
Ronaldo was doubtful for the important Champions League fixture after suffering a hamstring injury in a Spanish La Liga match against Atletico Madrid back in March 2011. The midfielder was declared fit for the squad on Monday after he completed a full training

Following Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss to Sporting Gijon on 2 April, 2011, Barcelona are the favourites to win the Spanish La Liga. The Catalan club have an eight-point advantage over Real with just eight matches remaining in the ongoing 2010-11 season.
Despite the defeat against Sporting Gijon, manager Mourinho has stated that his players are focused for the Champion League game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking at a press conference he said, “The Champions League is the most important club competition in the world.It's too important and nice to play to be thinking about anything else. It's a great match.”
The winners of the two-legged quarter-final will face Barcelona or Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-final.
