He said that he did not expect to reach the mark in such a small period of time and had kind words for his teammates.
"I did not expect to reach the 100-goal mark this season," he noted. "I would like to thank my team-mates and the coach."
However, his most emotional message was devoted to his countrymen. "It's a reward for all the Portuguese," he claimed.
Ronaldo has come under media spotlight with his sensational remarks and he did not leave before coining another of his masterpiece.
"If God does not please everyone, how am I going to do it?" the Portuguese said.
At 26 years of age, he still has a long career in front of him. Ronaldo understands that the learning phase of his life has not matured and he needs to develop if he wants to achieve his goal of becoming one of the best players of all time.
