Criticisms of the birmingham Bullring?

Are there any downslides to the Bullring redevelopment plan? i.e. small businesses in the surrounding area loosing out on trade etc. Thanks

No, it's great. It brings people into the centre of Birmingham as opposed to shopping centres on the outside that make everyone vacate the centre. Only downside I can see is that it gets crowded and causes a lot of traffic in central Birmingham especially at weekend, but parking costs are reasonable, unlike Selfridges in London. £7 for 2 hours, wtf!! 2 hrs minimum.
