I agree it is all of the above and more, globalisation is the cause of all the problems in society today what with immigration, the credit crunch, politicians failure to listen to the people, the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer, world hunger, poverty, racism, etc,etc...

You have to remember that Mahatir is slightly bonkers, very self serving and regularly locks up opposition politicians on trumped up charges. I wouldn't really assume his opinions to be worth much.
