Sorry Darling

Sorry darling for the misunderstanding

Sorry for the pain

I never though to hurt you

Your happiness my goal

Things some times happen

Not under my control

Little explanation I can offer

But remorse and regret

So now darling forgive me

Let’s our love remains

Pure and unembellished

For ever and ever again

  1. it works, however you could end with a last line that says again "sorry darling" or "darling, i'm sorry"

  2. It's okay. Not deep/striking enough.

  3. I think the basis of the poem is good, but I think poetry needs to be enigmatic, like a puzzle or a scene, that needs to be read into. Also, revise punctuation. I can't say it enough!

  4. Kinda says it all doesn't it?
