Critique My Poem?

Question

I try to be a good friend.

I dont push more than needed.

Im always there for support.

You mean the world to me.

But you brush me away.

Like some girl you barely know.

When I understand more than people think.

About everything.

Life.

I wonder why you hide yourself from the world.

When you could open your eyes.

And see life like I see it.

And change your point of view.

Because there is always a choice.

On how you see things.

How they affect you.

What you would see

If you opened your eyes.

I like to write poems with more of a rhyme scheme, I just think it sounds better... But your poem is honest and you really convey your feelings well...I think its great
