Croatia weather in September?

Hi I've got a holiday booked in Novigrad in Croatia for the 1st week in September - what will the weather be like?

All the brochures and travel agents will tell you it's going to be sunny and warm, but the reality is that I've had some pretty cool Septembers in Croatia (at the seaside) and some really hot ones. But even with the fact that nowadays the weather really can surprise us all anywhere on the globe, it's good to know that in general, it should be mild and sunny. Not as hot as August obviously, but still warm enough to enjoy it as long as it doesn't rain a lot.

    Temperatures are usually not  below 25 and not above 30 C in this period. Nights are definitely cooler, you'll need a light jacket.
