I'm an intermediate crocheter trying to design my own 1st garment but I've come to realize that I'm going to need to add some bust darts. Any basic solutions to this question?

  1. You can't really put the bust darts into a crocheted garment.  You'll have to use decreases in the right places.  I suggest picking up a copy of interweave crochet magazine.  They have very hip and trendy patterns that show the schematics for them.  One might have something similar to what you are designing.

  2. I have been crocheting since I was a teenager and have never heard of darts in crochet. It would make the garment too bulky where you don't want it.
