as a gift to him i made my first blanket its cute and turned out ok only one problem ...........i didn't count stitches so the corners are messed up and the sides are uneven,is there anything i can do to fix it cause i really don't want to see it go to waste it took a long time lol?

if it helps im sewing lace to its border don't know if that will fix it though

  1. well instead of just the lace border you could also crochet a border around it. start with a row of single crochet all around. count your stitches for the top and bottom of the blanket and just add in any you may need on the smaller side. you can also decrease some on the larger side if it's a big difference. This should help "square it up". Then do a couple of more rows around to make the border larger. You can do this in the same color as the blanket and then sew the lace on top of this crocheted border to help hide any fix stitches you added in. I hope this makes sense. Congrats on the new baby.
