Crockanure Eoin to ace the Grade A4 The Try a Trio Bet A4 525 Final at Harold’s Cross
Crockanure Eoin, Rathglass Lad, and Maybe Gavin will race as collective favourites in the Grade A4 The Try a Trio Bet A4 525 Final, which will take place at Harold’s Cross on 24th April, 2012.

With this level of competition, it will be hard to decide as to whom will take home the purse of €680 over a distance of 525 yards.
Crockanure Eoin, son of Winetavern Oscar, out of Shesinthelounge, has delivered impressive performances since his career began on 26th May, 2011. Over the course of his career, he has raced at different locations, but his performances
have been consistent.
Whelped on 1st May, 2009, Crockanure Eoin is on a hat-trick. He bagged two victories in his two most recent starts, where he defeated the O’Rourke trained, Ballymac First.
On 10th April, 2012, he defeated the daughter of Burnpark Champ, out of First Refusal, by a marginal difference of ½ a length.
On 17th April, 2012, he performed an encore and left the blue b***h 1 length behind, as he emerged victorious from the Grade A4 The Try a Trio Bet A4 525 Semi-final.
Trained by Syndicate, the hound may pose a threat for the other runners on the track, as he will fight with all his might to land the victory.
Rathglass Lad, son of Scarty Lad, out of Rathglass Girl, does not have enough experience compared to the rest of the hounds. This, however, does not mean that the hound is any less talented than the others.
In his short career, the Hyland trained hound completed a hat-trick at Harold’s Cross, and impressed his connections with his remarkable talent.
The victory that started his hat-trick took place in the Grade A5 Dobbins @ The Cross 525 on 12th March, 2012. He took the track with an unmatched pace, and defeated race favourite, Maireads Island, by 2 lengths.
He finished 1 length ahead of Hillroad Claf, and notched the victory in the Grade A5 Late Pick Four Starts Now on 26th March, 2012.

The victory that completed his hat-trick and raised his esteem among the punters took place on 10th April, 2012, where he defeated race favourite, Pay The Lolly, by a considerable margin of four and a half lengths.
Due to the fact that his hat-trick took place at Harold’s Cross, it is a possibility that the hound may turn in a similar performance, and down another victory for his connections.
Maybe Gavin, son of Cabra Cool, out of Annual Mandy, is also looking in good shape, as he won two of his recent races among four starts. He will give the other runners a tough time on the track.
The speculation is that Crockanure Eoin will take the race today, but it will not be an easy run for him.

Rathglass Lad will not admit defeat easily, and will use every opportunity to accelerate. The third place is likely to be secured by Maybe Gavin. All of these hounds will enter the race with odds of 5 to 2.
