  1. It is a mass cell sabilizer, it can be used to stop the release of histamines. What type of allergies do you wnat to treat? Antihistamines are taken to comate such alleriges as hayfever, or to combate the sweling of bee stings. Cromoglite will do much the same as an anti histamine.

    It is available as a nasal spray (Rynacrom) to treat allergic rhinitis, as an inhaler (Intal) for preventive management of asthma, as eye drops Opticrom  for allergic conjunctivitis, or in an oral form (Gastrocrom) to treat mastocytosis, dermatographic urticaria and ulcerative colitis.

    Sodium cromoglicate has also been shown to reduce symptoms of food allergies, including some cases of chronic migraines.

    I have only ever used opticrom and it is the best hayfever eye drop out there!
