Question:

Crooked septum, what do I do?

I got it pierced before in early June this year at 14g. I've stretched it to a 10g and it's still crooked.

the left side is about 1mm higher than the right side..

would it be worth it to let it close up and re pierce it?

  1. Well, it depends on your pain threshold I guess.

That happened to me and I did have it re-pierced, because I really like symetry and a crooked septum would have looked odd to me.

The only thing about the septum (as I'm sure you know) is that it really, really hurts.

On the other hand, it is one you will have for life (out of all the piercings I have, it is the only one that has lasted through colllege and now law school and really the only one I think is still interesting), so if you don't like it, then I would say redo it.

    Just my $0.02

  2. naww, prob ur the only one who notices it..
