Cropping photos using adobe?

i'm playing a prank on my sister for her graduation and need to know how i can crop her face from one picture and place it in a another picture using adobe...as much as advice as you can give would be great

  1. If you are using Adobe's Photoshop there are several ways of doing it. My suggestion as the easiest is to do this...

    1. Select a photo of her with as little lighting issues as possible and closest to the lighting of the image you are putting her into.

    2. Using the magnetic lasso tool with a feather of 2 or 3, make the best selection possible around her.

    3. Using the regular lasso tool with a feather of 2 or 3, add or subtract to the selection (hold shift while using the tool to add to the selection and use the alt key while using the tool to remove some) until you have just her selected.

    4. Copy and paste into the image you want to add her to.

    5. With the blur tool set fairly low (you can always add but you can't take away without undoing) do a light blur around the edges.

    This won't give you perfect results but they should be good. To get better results would require more information that would be easily typed out here. :)
