Cross Country For Junior High?

This coming school year I'm going into cross country in Junior High. Does anyone know how many miles they would run if it lasted an hour about?

At the middle school level, if you ran for an hour, I'm thinking if you have at least ok runners, you'd be at 8 min a mile so an hour would be around 7 in a half miles.

I am a J.H. runner too and I usually run about 9 to 10 miles in an hour but that depends on your team.

P.S. I've been running for quite a few years now.

i do xc and we run anywhere from 3 1/2 to 6x400 meter. good luck this year
