Cross Country Help Needed explaining what it is.?

Im deciding wheter or not to particapate in cross country in my junior year and i was wondering what sport is it i read that it had to do with running is that true cause i love running and really want to join but have no idea what exactly the sport is.

  1. Cross country is a lot of running. I have heard that it is recommended that you run around three miles a day, to give you an idea of how much running it is. I'm not sure about how long-distance the meets are, but they are probably about that too. Hope that helped!!! Have fun!


  2. In cross country you do run yuo go up and down hills get muddy run through water and can hang out with your friends its alot of fun!!!
