Cross Country i need help?

Ok so i started cross country this year,

i'm decent as far as it comes to running

but my ankle started getting swollen and it was hard to walk on it let alone run on it.

so i took a break from practices and running but continued swimming to stay in shape.

im missing the first meet and some more practices but i'm afraid i wont be able to run the 3.5 miles. any advice??

  1. get on a bike to stay in shape.

    What caused the ankle pain? that is rare


  2. great swimming - hopefully if this is to the same effort level to your running training, and your ankle is fine then you will not loose a lot of condition.

    get back into running gently with mix of running & swimming.
