  1. Each day will be a little different.

    uaually a warmup and stretches.

And than sometimes it will be a "hill day", so you practice on your uphill speed while building muscle. Some days are  just long slow runs, but you still get a workout. Also lots of pushups, situps, and bleachers.  and than a cooldown at the end of practice

  2. hahaha usally i run 7 miles a day with lifting light weights

  3. First of all, beginning practice will be warm up, usually about half a mile or so, ten you will do stretches, after you will do drills, that help loosen up your muscles so they don't get tight. Then you will run, usually 3-6 miles a day, depending on how fast you are. After your done running, you will then do stretches again, so they won't get tight later on. After you will probably do a few sets of sprints, or speed workouts, lungees and such, and then core workout, then that will be the end of practice.

  4. Most cross country workouts consist of 2 tempo runs/week which are usually about 3-5 miles at a fast pace usually around 6-630/ a mile for varsity guys, a distance day which usually starts with a 3 mile warmup followed by 8 miles or so at 6 30 - 7 minute pace again for varsity guys, some teams also like to do some intervals like 10 400's or variations. Most likely your coach will give you some ab and arm workouts to do, most likely not involving weights but excersizes that use your weight like push ups and then crunches and hip bridges. Hope this helps.

  5. I run cross country and track and depending on your coach you can expect a lot of running and interval sprints, but not weights.  Most coaches will not give you weight training until partway through the season.  ONLY RUNNING!!!
