Hey..so I'm in track and just recently decided to join cross country. Currently, my mile times aren't that great...like 8:30 or something like that. I know that the girls won't be running any more than 4 miles each day when practice actually starts, but how many miles should I run each day over the summer? I can do around 4 - 5 miles right now. Also, what are some good tips to bring down my times? Obviously running will, but any other training?
Oh, and one more thing, what are good times for girl's cross country? We do 2 miles, I think. And how much effort would I need to put in to get those times?
