  1. I would have to say make sure you keep up with the carbs and get yourself a good quality running shoe.  I've found lots of good information & advice from http://www.therunningadvisor.com/running...

Research is a good part of conditioning too.  Good luck!

  2. Don't drink bad things like soda. Eat lots of carbs so that you have energy and drink lots of water.

Make sure you have good running shoes! They're very important.

  3. i run (obviously :D) and just slowly increase your mileage or intensity until you get to about 3 miles or so. the day before a race always take it easy and carb load (spaghetti, bread..) i'm sure you'll really enjoy it!! :D

  4. well what you can do to help enhance your perfomrance is by eating things like eggs and red meat. eggs for protien and red meat for iron intake. the iron will make your arms and legs not feel as heavy when running. some running tips are...have good equiptment. make sure that your shoes are running shoes and that they are comfortable for you. also make sure you get the right size, keep in mind that when you are running your foot will spread out due to the pounding when you take each step. Good luck!!!

  5. healthy food as adiet tip

carbohydrates are important for runners, just good ones though, like whole wheat bread instead of wheat

gradually increase your milage before fall

    STREATCH!! stay loose

    good luck
