Cross member on the transmission of a 1998 blazer?

i need to change the filter and trans fluid on my 1998 blazer but the cost difference between if there is or is not a cross member that they have to remove to get this done is a lot its almost double. so i want to know is there a cross member that will need to be removed? also how do you know,can you prove this with a sight?

If I remember right I think there is a cross member. 4wd or 2wd blazer? There may be a difference between the 2. Anyways Look at your tranny pan and see if there's a crossmember that must be removed to remove the pan. And if there is it shouldn't be much trouble removing it.
