My mother is planning Little Marvel Peas and I want to plant Alaskan Peas. How far do they need to be planted apart from one another in order to make sure they don't cross polinate? I'm planning to let afew of my pea plants produce seeds so I can plant them for next year. Any Tips?

  1. go for cross pollination only, because if cross pollination happens there are chances that useful dominant characters may survive and bad characters may become recessive which will improve quality of the peas.

  2. Both varieties are naturally self pollinated, so there is not much chance of cross pollination if planted side by side. Separating them by several feet might help you assure that they stay pure, but you are in good shape already. Have a nice garden.

  3. 20cm inroll and 30cm outroll
