Crossfield Halle to swing back into form for the williamhill.com Stakes
The £127 prize money of the Grade A2 williamhill.com Stakes has attracted Target Chanel, Liosgarbh Silver, Crossfield Halle, Holycross Rebel, Millstreet Beau and Roker Titan. The 480 metres flat race will be hosted by Newcastle on Tuesday, 27th November. The line-up gathered for the race tonight is pretty moderate and none has achieved in a manner that would set them apart as the undisputed favourite.
Taking off in the red jacket of the first stall will be, Target Chanel, while breaking loose from the last trap will be, Roker Titan.
The third trap, Crossfield Halle, seems to be the highly likely entry for taking back the prize money to the connections. If not victorious lately, the two-year-old black b***h has been relatively better than the rest in the line-up.
She has been racing since two seasons now and has also given a shot to the open level. Out of the multiple tries at the most refined level of racing, she could bag the prize money of only two.
Last that Ballymac Maeve’s daughter was successful at the open grade was in the williamhill.com Classic Trial Stakes on 23rd June, 2012 at Sunderland over 450 metres.
The two-year-old was entered as the favourite and rested the race just as was expected from her. Taking off from the fourth trap, she distanced herself from the rest of the field and reeled in for the wire from the fourth spot, taking 27.85 seconds to conclude the race.
She set the red stall, Hilltown Beano, into the runner-up’s position by the margin of ¾ of a length.
The D. Spraggon trained had her last two outings at Grade HP and the Grade A2.
The two-year-old out of, Crossfield Maryo, qualified as the runner-up in the William Hill – The Home Of Betting on 15th November, 2012 at Newcastle over 480 metres flat.
She missed the winning mark by two lengths.
Crossfield Halle’s effort in the Grade 2 William Hill – The Homes Of Betting Stakes on 20th November, 2012 at Newcastle saw her finishing at the third position.
She will need to pull back on her form for making the most out of the chance.
