  1. You won't have any problem crossing the border with Canada if you have a drivers license or social security if you   don't have an accent like new immigrants . The problem you'll have is coming back to America. You need a passport to go back to America but not Canada.

  2. just a minute ...............i'll tell you

  3. You require your birth certificate or passport, in addition to something with your picture on it (Eg. Driver's license), they will not let you across the border if you don't have your birth certificate or passport

  4. Try a voter registration card because only citizens can vote.  A resident can get a social security card so that doesn't prove citizenship....but voting does.  Thats the closest thing to a birth certificate.  Also expired passports.

  5. You MUST have the birth certificate. To order a new one, just enter in the search bar the name of your state and "birth certificates.'  Like this..." Michigan, birth certificates."  Just enter the state where you were born and it will bring up the place you can contact to get a new one.  Best to order TWO certified copies and keep them in separate places so you always have one.

  6. You can search for where in your city you can get a new one. Mine was at the city hall. Call them and ask them how long it takes and how much it will cost to get a new one.
