I have a valid picture licence and a birth certificate. Problem is my licence is suspended at the moment. I am crossing into Canada in Buffalo NY. What are the chances they are going to check into my licence and not allow me in and/or arrest me for unlicenced driving. (I would have an AUO 2)

I havn't crossed into Canada in several years.

  1. You mean driving into Canada with suspended drivers license? Doesn't sound too smart to be driving anywhere with suspended drivers license.

Now days you need a passport to enter Canada, Mexico or Bahamas.

  2. From my experiences you will be held for sure - I wouldnt chance it at all.  The borders are very strick now.

  3. Your licence is suspended but you're planning to drive to Canada? Please stay home. We have enough unlicenced drivers of our own causing problems up here already. If your licence is suspended, that means it isn't valid, it means you do not have a driver's licence. It also means your  car insurance isn't valid, either, if you're driving. All you have is a piece of paper that used to be a driver's licence. Isn't that what they got Paris Hilton for?
