Crossing to Mexico ?

Question

Has anyone walked over for a beer or whatever and NOT been asked for any paperwork as in nothing more than a drivers license? As recently as one month ago??

Actually we jump every spring break from Corpus, for one night. I have never been asked for more than my ID. Even though they say Birth Cert. is required.

well they don't ask for anything when you go in but when you come out they either ask if you are a American citizen or they ask for your ID or Driver lic. have it out before you start to leave Mexico because if they see that you have money they might take you in the back and take your money and there is nothing you can do ! I had a friend that did not listen to me and they took his money.
