Crossroad rule in NSW?

Question

If i am in a car approaching a crossroad and another car also approaches the crossroad from my left and there are no giveway signs or stop signs, who gives way? Would it change if the other car comes from my right?

The rule states give way to the right! If in doubt or if the other driver doesn't give way just give way to everyone. Sure is better than  a smash.
