Crouch or Rooney For England?

Question

I just don't understand the love for Rooney as I think he has been the worst player for england since the last 4 years. And when we think of crouch he has been the best england player for 2 years (bar capello time)

So why does still Rooney get a automatic place despite playing **** and crouch not even playing as a starter??

If england needs to play well, they must really move Rooney away not the other way around and saying Rooney is the only hope for england.

Rooney hands down. plays for the team and has lots of passion, skill, strength etceverything you want in a football player.

What makes you think Crouch is better or has been playing better than Rooney? Crouch is just tall and Rooney is more skilful. Surely.

Its obviously not 1 player that is the problem for England, it is  much more. Capello's formations aren't working and putting Crouch in for Rooney won't make things any better

Rooney isn't all about scoring. He can also make the pass that leads to a play which leads to a goal. That's why he remains so valuable to England and Manchester United.

But when he gets his chance to score, he makes it count.

I think P Crouch cannot catch up with Wayne Rooney who is very much better, maybe not so powerful now becaus I think Man Utd do not know how to use him to score goal. Rooney is very hardworking always trying but Crouch is now no good as striker - he did not play well against Chelsea.
