Scenareo: you walk onto a bus that is really full so you need to sit next to a complete stranger right. What happens when people get off the bus and empty seats become available, do you go sit on an empty seat or do you have to stay sitting next to the stranger for the duration of the ride??? Just wondering

  1. It can go either way. If you feel "cramped for space" then as you get up to slide over a seat or so you can say as your doing that, "Ah finally some breathing room", or something similar in a friendly way, or you can just do it without saying anything. Either way it wouldnt be offensive.

  2. oh you have to stay where you are, otherwise they will get the impression that they smell .... maybe they do

  3. Stay seated - it is more courteous.

  4. If you were sitting next to me, I would be hoping for you to get up and move to the empty seat unless we were making out or something.

  5. Just stay where you are.
