Wednesdays are great days to go!  You might even beat the 4th of July rush!  We are also going that day.  Always remember that weekends are packed!  Especially July.   You get better hotels deals during the week also.  I just got cedar point tickets from someone who works for chrysler.  They only cost $22 a ticket for all day so if you know someone that works for chrysler give them a call and see if they can get you tickets!  My tickets are even good for the weekend~!

I went around that day last year.  Weekdays are the best to go but cedar point is big enough that crowds suck all the time.  The big coasters will have probably 1 hr lines.  Just hit the dragster first because when i went it broke down later in the day so i never got to ride it.  If you got 30mins before park officially opens then you can get in line for the big rides or even ride some early!

i would say go on a thursday becuase i went there last thursday and there were only like 15 min rides for almost all of the rides.

Probally not as many as there will be that weekend. But the Point is always crowded.

You should be fine unless a ton of people are rushing there for the July 4th weekend.  During the week is a great time to go if you don't want to wait forever for a ride.
