  1. Any of your crown, caps, temp false teeth etc should be fashioned after your natural teeth.  I would not worry about your temporary not fitting exactly right...I have had many a crown and cap placed and the temps are very rough and sometimes can cause your tongue to play with it...but it is the final crown and cap that tell the story.  They should be hand made from impressions made of your natural tooth during the process of making this cap or crown.  It should match in colour and shape when the dentist sends it away to be made.  You certainly pay enough for this to be a perfect match in every way.

  2. The person who did your temporary should have done a better job making it fit. When I have had mine it is usually the dental assistant who does the temporaries-I would go back and have them fix it. The fit of the temporary has nothing to do with the permanent crown but don't leave the office until your are satisfied with the final crown. It will feel a little odd and tight but that is natural.

  3. The temporary shouldn't feel all that weir, but you should have told the Dr. and have them fix it if it was way off. The permanent has nothing to do with the temp, the permanent will be made from the impressions that they took on you, and that is what the lab bases the prem on. By no means should you leave there with the perm if it does not seem right, although slighly weird is normal, because you would've gotten used to the temp. It should not feel like you are hitting it first when you bite down, all your back teeth should hit at the same time.
