  1. 2.  I don't think she is suspicious of him, she simply cannot find it within herself to forgive him yet.

  2. 1. I think (it's been awhile) that Reverend Hale was the character who felt it was his duty to rout witchcraft, and that he was honest in this, as oppose to the others who just wanted to settle scores and gain personal advantage.

    2. Who wouldn't be? He betrayed her.

    3. Don't really remember them, but they were probably able to get people they didn't like convicted of witchcraft, and cover up anything they did wrong.

  3. 1. Revered Hale is nearly forty, a tight-skinned, eager-eyed intellectual. His primary task is to ascertain witchcraft he felt the pride of the specialist whose unique knowledge has at last been publicly called for.

    2. I think Elizabeth Proctor is still suspicious of her husband because she knows Abby is very clever and could dispose of her quickly if Proctor let her.

    3. I cant help you on this question because i would have to re-read the book and that would take at least 5 hours but its asking how are the Putnam's powerful and influential? What do they do to prove that?
