  1. Not in the immediate future.  In my area, gas stations are quick to raise prices when the cost of a barrel of oil rises but slow to lower prices when the cost of oil falls.

In actuality, the fuel you put into your vehicle is from crude that was extracted weeks or even months ago.  It takes a while for the crude to be shipped to a refinery, processed and then shipped to the gas station where it is pumped into the storage tank.  Based on this, you should not see daily fluctuations in gas prices based on the cost of crude oil.

  2. no, I dont think it will coz world reserves are decreasing and demand is increasing, so unless demand is decreased or new alternatives are developped, prices will not drop

  3. Consult the Head of the Flying Monkeys.  Don't you know how it works, if oil gets dearer we pay more.  If oil gets cheaper, the oil companies make more.  The government does best out of it all though.

  4. I really don't think so, they already see that we will spend $3.50 a gallon. so they would be nuts to drop it. it can only go up at this point.

  5. crude oil falling is just a blip..........just watch. Yes your right though petrol stations are very slow to react when there is a fall
