Cruel mother me?

Question

I am a really cruel mother.

I have a step daughter who is very innocent + kind...

that is why she did not reported me in police(cops)

i mean that one day she did some sevior blunder, and i spanked her and later punished her to do 30 push-ups and then did ot allow her to have a single sip of water for about 2 hours.

now, i have realized that i was wrong.

Now i need to sa a "sorry" but that would hurt my ego, what do i do?

Get over it and think about what you did to her.  Don't you think that hurt her ego.  Parents are wrong sometimes.  Nothing you did put her in any "danger" but I'm sure it really upset her.  Apologize, quit thinking about yourself.

Yeah that is cruel. No matter what she does You CANNOT use food as a punishment. You cannot take food or water away. I don't think saying orry would be enough. and push ups, come on, she's not in boot camp. Stop being such a B**** and chill out. I would NEVER do that to my daughter.

I sure hope you do not reproduce with your husband and I pray this little girl will at least tell her mother about your behavior.  If she was my daughter I can guarantee you would want the cops there.  You would be much safer.  You are a very selfish and insane person.  Tell the child you are sorry!!!!!!  And I mean that in more ways than one!!!!!!

if your asking this in an open forum you are either seeking real advise or your putting people on

if you truly feel you are sorry and wrong then say it and  accept that you are being a true parent.  there are no easy anserws in parenting and every situation calls for different ways to deal with them if you were wrong admit it

No apology would ever fix this situation. You're a real a$$shole for not wanting to hurt your ego when you hurt your stepdaughter.

I can't believe it. I'm really sorry. I don't know what came over me, and I have enrolled in anger managment courses. I know that no apology could ever fix this situation, but do you think that you could find it in your heart to give me a second chance even though I don't deserve one?
