Cruise Anyone???

I have always wanted to take a cruise and have seriously been considering it .. but there's one problem .. I am SO afraid!!!! With reading things about people "disappearing" on these cruise ships or getting sick on them .. does this happen alot or am I being overly paranoid? Can anyone recommend a cruise line?

I understand your thoughts - the Mass market ships are full of people - try to pick a smaller ship for your 1st sailing ...go on a short cruise your 1st time.
